Cae Ysgubor virtual tour

The Cae Ysgubor bunkhouse is located beside a narrow lane which leads between Beddgelert and the Sygun Copper Mine.

The hut is located at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference SH 60204 48613.
Beside the hut there is ample off-road parking for several vehicles, and a smaller area for additional parking on the opposite side of the lane.

Behind the hut is a large, secluded, paved, terrace area, leading to the hut entrance.

The entrance leads to a ground floor vestibule, which leads on inwards to the ground floor living space, or upwards by a single flight of stairs to a first-floor dormitory.

The stairway opens out into the first floor dormitory.

The first floor dormitory sleeps 9 in four 2-tier bunks, and one single bunk, and has several individual en-suite shower and toilet facilities.

The ground floor is focused on a large, comfortable, open-plan kitchen, diner and living space.

Off this large living space is a mobility-accessible toilet, washroom and shower.

The living area also leads off to two, smaller, ground-floor dormitories, and a drying room.

The smaller ground floor dormitory accomodates up to 3 persons, with a set of bunk beds and a single bed.

The larger ground floor dormitory accomodates up to 4 persons in two sets of bunk beds. It also has an en-suite WC/shower room.

Outside, behind the hut is a level grassy bank, suitable for pitching tents for additional or alternative outdoor accomodation.
